2/25 Meetup Recap
I shouldn't be shocked, but you bronies have outdone yourselves again. We had 30 pony fans cram into the meetup.
The meetup was a blast. We had bronies from as far away as Reading and Fillydelphia come to our little shin dig. (Including the return of Bronyclips and an appearance by DannyBrony )We introduced ourselves, watched an episode (as voted on by the group), played Trivia is Magic, had some sing a longs, played pin the tail on the pony, and held an auction. All in all, it was a rousing success.
A bunch of you brought in your pony related stuff and I was impressed by just how much stuff you guys have. Just take a look for yourselves.
The winners of Trivia is Magic won a brushable Pinkie Pie pony and the runners up won stickers and coloring books. I can't remember the name of the team that won but congrats to everypony for doing their best. The ending was a little chaotic (as you can tell by the look on my face) but it was still a very good game.
Pin the tail on the pony was way more fun then I thought it was going to be. Of the 21 players only 4 actually landed on the picture of Pinkie. Most players strayed off so far left that they ran into the window. The top 5 players won a blind bag pony for their efforts.
Later on at the event we held our auction. All the money that we raised will go back to the club to help make future meetings %120 more cooler. We had 3 items go up for bid, a 4 pack of blind bag ponies, a bunch of stickers and various things from Bronycon, and a handmade Derpy Fleece beanie.(Winner pictured above.) We raised $69 in total. Way to go guys!!
After all was said and done I have to say that this was the best meetup yet. Wayne volunteered to curl up the mane of a fellow brony's Pinkie Pie and Rarity. I can't wait to see the end result. I really don't have much else to add, but thanks for the wonderful time and look forward to seeing everypony again next month. In the meantime enjoy more photos from the meetup.
PS. If you left contact info on the board feel free to put it in the comments because I couldn't really read the addresses off the photos I took.
